The Institute of History and Ethnology of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences and the Chinggis Khaan Heritage and Cultural Institute have jointly compiled and published a compilation of documents related to Chinggis Khaan's heritage and culture, which were preserved in the Historical Documentary Archive of the Mongolian National Central Archives.
      Although the documents preserved in the archive date back to the period after Chinggis Khaan’s lifetime, they are of great scientific and cognitive significance because they are comprehensive in content and have not yet been in circulation of studies.
    The documents in the compilation cover the period 1830-1962, including the time when the Mongols were under Manchu rule; the time of Mongolia regained its independence (1911-1921); the time of the people's government and beyond that time (1921-1962).
